Ruth H. (Butt) Konrad, born May 26, 1916, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 25th, 2011 with family and loving Hospice help at her side at home. She is now living in His mansion and caring for His many flower beds as she did during her time here on earth.Ruths flower beds were always the talk of visitors as being the most beautiful in the area. She had such a green thumb that friends and family brought their plants and flowers to her for resurrection. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for over 50 years and took care of the altar flowers for many years. Her other passion was playing cards with family and friends.Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Erwin Konrad; a son Ronald; her parents and many sisters and brothers.She is survived by her daughter Sally (John) Daubert, sons James (Carol) , Kenneth (Angie), Phillip (Donna), Michael (Barbara) and Mark (Delores); sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; a sister Florence Raddatz.Visitation will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo, Oshkosh on Saturday, March 5th from 1:00 to 3:00 followed by a prayer service with Chaplain Vicki Marxen officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Aurora Visiting Nurse Association, Oshkosh Branch 700 N. Westhaven Drive Oshkosh 54904 for their tender care which allowed Ruth to remain in her home during her last days here on earth.
