Ruth R. Kitz

Ruth R. Kitz, age 100, passed away at Evergreen Retirement Community on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. She was born to the late Michael and Rose (Friday) Goyke on August 17, 1921, in Oshkosh. She married John Kitz in 1942, together they had 3 children. Both John and Ruth were members at St Mary’s Catholic Church. In addition to being a loving mother, Ruth also worked as a sales associate at Bee Frank Clothing Store here in Oshkosh. Ruth was a member of various clubs throughout her life, many of which involved dancing, or even just socializing. She had a wonderful laugh and a beautiful personality; she will never be forgotten!Ruth is survived by her 3 sons, Michael, Thomas (Susan), and Jeffrey Kitz; and 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.A service for Ruth will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament St Mary's (605 Merritt Avenue) on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 11:00am. A visitation will be held from 9:00am until time of service. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
