Ruth Rose Borgman

Ruth R. Borgman, 101, of Oshkosh died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Bethel Home. She was born October 20, 1914 in Oshkosh a daughter of Frank and Edna (Rouse) Strauss. She married Lyle Borgman on December 16, 1939, in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1992.Ruth was a life-long resident of Oshkosh, was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and had worked for many years at the former Wisconsin Axle Credit Union.Ruth is survived by a son, Reverend Paul (Patricia) Borgman of Oconomowoc; three grandsons, Michael (Traci) Borgman of Oconomowoc, Joel (Brenda) Borgman of Waukesha, and Stephen (Kapri) Borgman of Oconomowoc; four great-grandchildren, Macie, Emma, Bryant, and Phillip; three nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, June Abraham; a brother, Frank Bud Strauss; and three nephews.A funeral service for Ruth will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016, at 11:000 a.m. at Lake View Memorial Park, Rev. Greg Koepsell officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the service. Committal will follow. Memorials for Ruth would be appreciated for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
