Sandra Ann Winkler

Sandra (Sandy) Winkler, 63, passed away on March 25, 2016. She was born on October 3, 1952, the daughter of the late Elmer and Shirley (Smith) Stark. She was united in marriage to Timothy Winkler in 1974 in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with two children.Sandy lived at Parkview Health Care for the last four years. She enjoyed her time at Parkview and was active in bingo, going to church and being a part of various other activities. Sandy worked as a CNA for several years at Evergreen Manor, she also worked at Wal-Mart for many years. She enjoyed reading, plastic and canvas crafts, and visiting with friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and lit up when they were together.Sandy is survived by her husband, Timothy Winkler; sons, Jeffery and Jim (Pam) Winkler; grandchildren, Jared, Lindsay, Sam, Quinn, Abner and Emmett; brothers, Bob (Mary) and Randy (Beth) Stark; sisters, Susan (Ervin) Portman, Terri(Mark) Boettcher, and Shelby (Allan) Goranson; as well as many nieces and nephews.Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Shirley (Smith) Stark.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Konrad Behlman Funeral Home located on 100 Lake Point Dr. Oshkosh, WI, 54904. The visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank everyone at Parkview for all the care she was given, as well as the friendships she gained while she was there. Also, thank you to the staff at Mercy Medical Center for all the care provided.And a very special thank you from Sandy's sons, Jeff and Jim, to their Aunt Shelby for her continuous love and assistance in making the last years of Mom's life as comfortable as possible.
