Scott A. Herdt

Scott A. Herdt, age 58, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at his home in Oshkosh. He was born to Edward and Shirley (Wendt) Herdt on October 10, 1963, in West Bend, Wisconsin. After graduating from Campbellsport High School, Scott went on to join the Navy where he spent most of his career serving his country.
After retiring from the Navy, he became a tractor-trailer mechanic with Quality Trucking Care Center here in Oshkosh. Scott loved movies, especially suspense and horror movies.  He never missed a Packer game and enjoyed going to Brewer games. He took pride in his landscaping; he loved his children and was not only a great dad but one of the best grandpas.
 Scott is survived by his children, Catherine, Theresa, Joshua, and Elizabeth Herdt; grandchildren, Elijah, Gabriel, Brayden, and Bentley; mother, Shirley; brothers Daniel (Pat) Mike (Pat), Victoria (Randy) Breit, Tracy Cantu, and Heidi Herdt. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Edward; brother Mark; brother-in-law Carlos Cantu; niece, Michelle; and great-nephew, Quinton.
 A service for Scott will be held at Konrad-Behlman funeral homes Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive) on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1 PM. Visitation will take place from 11 AM until the time of service. A private burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Campbellsport.
