Sharon Jean Kieckhafer, 53, of Pine River, formerly of Oshkosh died Sunday June 28, 2009 at the cabin that she loved. She was born October 11, 1955 in Appleton a daughter of Henry and Dolores Bradley Hedtke. Sharon married Jim F. Kieckhafer on March 30, 1974 in Neenah. Sharon worked at Kargus Appraisals for many years, while there Gordy became an inspiration in her career and life. Sharon spent the last few years working at Bio Life. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Redgranite. Sharon enjoyed traveling, coupon clipping, cards, spending time at the cabin with family and friends, and sweepstakes. She is survived by her husband Jim F. Kieckhafer of Pine River; a daughter Rebecca M. (Paul) Piechowski of Oshkosh; a son Paul J. (Lindsay) Kieckhafer of Whitefish Bay, WI; two grandchildren Marlie Hope Kieckhafer and Mason Paul Piechowski (born June 27, 2009); mother Dolores J. Hedtke of Neenah; sisters Sandra (Randy) Mueller and Karen (John) Buyeske both of Neenah; and a father-in-law Bill Niemuth of Poy Sippi. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry. A funeral service for Sharon will be held Thursday July 2, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside. Visitation will be Thursday at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home from 3 PM until the service. A private burial will be in Pine River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Sharons family would like to thank West Allis Memorial Hospital, Dr. Johnson, and the Aurora VNA Hospice for all their help and care. Sharon had breast cancer ten years ago and won; two years ago she got ovarian cancer and couldnt win.
