Sophie Ellen Blevins

Sophie E. Blevins, 53, of Oshkosh died peacefully, with her family and friends by her side, Saturday February 28, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. Sophie was born January 4, 1956 in Chicago. She spent her early life in Chicago where she made many friends and met the love of her life Kenneth R. Blevins. Sophie married Ken on August 6, 1983 in Chicago and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2002. Sophie enjoyed living life to its fullest. She especially enjoyed gambling, bingo, darts, and karaoke. Sophie is survived by a daughter Michelle Blevins-Loiselle (fianc Chad Ratajczak) of Oshkosh; a son Kenneth R. Blevins Jr. (fiance Coral Foate) of Appleton; mother Jane Perry of Oshkosh; a sister Laura Richert of Oshkosh; four grandchildren Michael, Jason, and Jordan Blevins, and Giovanni Schultz all of Oshkosh; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special friends June and Betty. Sophies family cant forget to mention and thank her second home and family at the Jockey Club, especially Robin, Jessie, and Lonna, for all the help and care theyve given.
