Steven J. Bartels

Steven J. Bartels, age 74 of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was born on March 22, 1947 to the late Warren and Agnes (Kritz) Bartels.

Steven worked as a railroad engineer for many years. He had a love for traveling Amtrak and he had a vast collection of railroad and train memorabilia.

He is lovingly survived by his brothers: Theodore (Chieko) and Robert Bartels; sister: Barbara (Frank) DiFatta; stepmother, Nora Bartels; brother-in-law: Ronald Roebke; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Roebke, and brother, Ronald Bartels.

Per Steven’s wishes, a private service will take place.
