Sue Ann Harnitz

Sue A. Harnitz, 73, of Oshkosh died on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center with her sons, grandchildren, and other family members at her side. Sue was born on May 15, 1938 in Sandusky, Ohio the daughter of Roger and Virginia Everett Stephens. Sue married Ramon Harnitz on February 8, 1992 in Appleton. Sue was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved flowers and animals, and had been a volunteer at the Oshkosh Animal Shelter. Survivors include her husband, Ray of Oshkosh; sons, Jim (Paula) Gibson of Brown Deer, Tom (Karen) Gibson of Appleton; step children, Jayna (Paul) Phillips of Oshkosh, Paul (Gail) Harnitz of Huntsville, AL, Trina Rahmlow of Oshkosh; sister, Jan (Bill) Quick of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Rachel, Kyle, and Brady Gibson; step grandchildren, Anna, Abigail, and Samuel Phillips, Tony Smidl, Jon Rahmlow, Caity and Cody Rahmlow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Virginia.The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside) with the Rev. Chadwick Graham officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon to 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
