She is further survived by her sister, Pamela Lowther; brothers, Ira, Art, and Phillip Koepke, as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved with all her heart. Also, if you knew her, she was cat crazy and adored her cat Sassy just like one of her kids. She was preceded in death by her parents.A memorial service will be held for Suzie at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-(Eastside) with Rev. Her family would like to invite family and friends for a gathering at Barley & Hops (663 N. Main St.) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.The family would like to thank all of her wonderful friends who kept her smiling through her fight. Family would also like to thank everyone at the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center, especially Dr. Karen Gremminger for taking such great care of our mother through her fight. Also, thank you to Affinity Hospice for making her last few months comfortable for our mother. She was able to leave this life with dignity, respect, and on her own terms. Special thank you to Ryan and Kristy for their amazing care. When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile; And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky!
