Theodore Ted E. Engelke IV, 68, of Oshkosh, died with his loving family near on Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Ted was born on September 29, 1938 in Oshkosh the son of Theodore J. and Verna Koelpin Engelke. Ted married Donna Delehant on March 23, 1984 in Golden, Colorado. Ted was an active member of Elks Club #292 for 34 years, and was a Past Exalted Ruler. He enjoyed hunting and sang with the Oshkosh Barbershoppers. He worked as a brick layer in the Oshkosh area for many years and was a member of Brick Layers Union Local 3, 9, 11. He was also a Lieutenant in the Winnebago County Sheriff Reserve and had been an EMT in Ellsworth Kansas. Survivors include his loving wife, Donna; two sons, Theodore J. TJ (Mary) Engelke V of Winneconne, Kelly G. (Merry) Engelke of Fond du Lac: daughters, Debra L. (John) Brandenstein and Dawn M. (Steve) Kaufman both of Oshkosh; stepsons, Steven Willis and Shawn Willis both of Texas, and Scott Willis of Arizona; step daughter, Lora (Nick) Wells of Florida; brother, Robert O. (Becky) Engelke of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Nancy J. (Monte) Harrison of Winneconne, and Sherry L. Engelke of Milwaukee. Also surviving are his God son, Shawn M. Engelke; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with an Elks service at 7:00 PM and the funeral service to follow, all at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside. Interment will be in Lake View memorial Park. A memorial has been established.
