Thomas R. Dodd

Thomas R. Dodd, age 69, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Bethel Home. He was born on May 17, 1945 at Mercy in Oshkosh, the son of the late Harold and Ethel (Lewis) Dodd. Tom lived with his parents and helped take care of them. Tom worked for the Winnebago County Highway Department for 35 years. He was also a volunteer fireman for over 40 years. Tom was the honorary mayor of Fisk, after beginning the traditional July 3 fireworks display. He volunteered at the Pickett Steam Engine Show. After retiring Tom enjoyed helping others with their lawn care.Tom is survived by his four brothers and sisters: Evelyn (John) Kasper of Oshkosh, George Dodd of Winneconne, Patrick Dodd of Fisk, Dorothy (Dennis) Ewald of Oshkosh; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Dodd of Omro and Linda Dodd of Oshkosh. Further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers: John (Marion) Dodd, Arthur, Bill and Edward Dodd, one sister, Betty (Oscar) Zarling and one sister-in-law, Mary Dodd.Funeral Service for Tom will be on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. with Rev. Randall King officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday at the funeral home from 12:00 pm noon until the time of service. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
