Virginia M. Weich, 87, of Oshkosh, died on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on December 29, 1924 in Chicago the daughter on Martin and Pearl Fink Kolbus. Virginia married Elmer Weich on December 13, 1940 in Oshkosh. Elmer preceded her in death on July 13, 2002.She owned and operated Weich Excavating with her husband for many years. Virginia loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed playing bingo.Survivors include her sons, Arden (Mary) Weich of Ripon, Wayne (Diann) Weich of Oshkosh, Gary (Barbara) Weich of Oshkosh, Dean (Sandy) Weich of Fond du Lac; daughters, Jan (Dale) Forbes-Howe of Neenah, Kay Passarelli of Redgranite, Lois (Jim) Robinson of Morris Chapel, TN, Sandy Walth of Oshkosh; 24 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; mother and stepfather, Pearl and Morris Gunderson; and three sons-in-law, Ralph Forbes, Gene Passarelli, Jim Walth.The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
