Virginia May Fuhs

Virginia (Jinny) Kellogg Fuhs age 91, passed away on May 10, 2014. She was born to Horace B Kellogg and May Rush on May 20, 1922 in Antigo, WI.She graduated from Poynette high school as Valedictorian of her class and went onto attend U.W. Madison School of Business. This is where she met the love of her life Earl Fuhs. They were married on February 27, 1942.They first lived in Madison where Earl accepted a position with Eli Lilly and eventually they moved to Oshkosh.Virginia was a Real estate broker for over 30 years and was also involved as a volunteer in many organizations...Camp Fire girls, Junior Women's Club, Visiting Nurse's Association and The Literacy Council.Earl and Jinny enjoyed many vacations to Hawaii, Grand Cayman, Europe and Deer Path Camp.At 60 years old Jinny became a certified scuba diver and continued diving into her 70's.Jinny is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Fuhs (Karen), of Oshkosh, Dr. Stephen Fuhs (Beverly) of Seattle, WA, two daughters, Sarah Brusky (Tom) of Racine and Cynthia Hammitt (Brad) of Omaha, NE, plus seven grandchildren, Leslie Fuhs Allen and Steve Fuhs, Claire Brusky Endres and Maggie Brusky, Kyle, Reid and Katherine Hammitt. She was also blessed with 5 great-grandchildren, Jack, Parker, Brady, Kieran and Isla. Jinny was a member of Peace Lutheran and Calvary Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held for Virginia at 3:00 p.m. onTuesday, May 13, 2014 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral homes Westside with Rev. Timothy Routh officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
