William Axel Hansen Jr.

William (Bill) A. Hansen Jr., 60, of Oshkosh was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, as a result of an auto accident in Chicago. He was born October 30, 1956, in Wautoma, WI a son of William A. and Donna Ottaway Hansen Sr. He married Melissa Moore on January 27, 1991.Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and drove truck for Frehse Transportation Inc for several years. He felt very blessed to be working with this company and grateful to have had the opportunity to work for Ric Frehse. Bill felt most at home either in his truck or on his motorcycle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and developing close bonds with people through the gaming world. Bill most of all treasured every minute being "Papa" to all of his grandchildren.Bill is survived by his wife, Melissa; children, Bobbi (Albert) Garcia, Lucas (Belinda) Hitchcock, Jeremy (Bobbie) Moore, Jenni (Aaron) Argall, William A. (Christy) Hansen III, Thomas Hansen, Samantha Hansen, and Katherine Hansen; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, his sister, Ruth (Rob) Abraham; and his brother, Bob (Sandy) Shurman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Pamela Reay; and his brother, Terry Ottaway.A memorial service for Bill will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11a.m. until the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
