William Ernest Kliss

William E. Kliss, age 92, of Neenah, died Thursday August 11, 2011 at Sterling House in Neenah. He was born on December 1, 1918 in Oshkosh a son of Norman and Elsie Fredrick Kliss.William graduated from Oshkosh High School and served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. He worked as a machinist in Milwaukee and operated Checker Cab in Oshkosh with his father. He is survived by two nephews Michael (Cheri) Brus, Gary Kliss, three nieces Patricia (Rueben) Hoeft, Sandra Ochowicz, and Beverly Handel and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold Kliss, and two sisters Jeanette Brus and Leona Kliss. A graveside service for William will be held Monday (Today) at 1pm in Riverside Cemetery. We would like to thank Sterling House of Neenah for the wonderful care they have given Bill the last four years and a very special thank you to Sandy Poellinger for the years of special care she gave Bill.
