William Hickey

William J. Hickey, 89, of Oshkosh died Saturday April 23, 2011. He was born September 1, 1921 in Lanark, WI a son of the late Daniel and Rosa Vosburg Hickey. Bill married Joan Schell on April 3, 1948 in Neenah. She preceded him in death on December 22, 1999. Bill was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament-St. Mary Church and had worked for 30 years at Automotive Supply Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. Survivors include a daughter Gail M. Hickey of Menasha; a son William B. Hickey (fiance Shannon Stewart) of Oshkosh; six grandchildren, Megan of Neenah, Bill and Dan both of Milwaukee (and their mother Katie Flood of Mequon), Mathew, Joe, and Ava all of Oshkosh; and two great-grandchildren Marcus and Brianna both of Neenah. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Judy, five sisters, and two brothers. A memorial mass will be held with inurnment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A memorial is being established.
