Ada Alice Leu

Ada A. Leu, 93, of Oshkosh, died Monday October 3, 2005 at Park View Health Center – Pleasant Acres. Ada was born in Oshkosh, April 29, 1912 a daughter of Charles and Emma (Nolte) Buehring. She married Melvin Leu on December 26, 1947. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1972.Ada worked at Evergreen Manor as a Nurses Aide. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church, where she also taught Sunday school.Ada is survived by a daughter, Roxanne Leu of Oshkosh, a niece, Margaret (Arnold) Gafner of Mesa, AZ; three great- nephews, Robert (Linda) Gafner of Atlanta, GA, Glen (Susie) Gafner of Albuquerque, NM, Edward (Nancy) Gafner of Parker, CO, and a great-niece, Susan (Richard) Cometto of Broomfield CO; she is further survived by eight great-great nieces and nephews, and six great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a brother, Fred.Funeral service for Ada will be held on Friday October 7, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home – Westside with Rev. Chuck Fluegel officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the hour of service. Burial will be at Ellenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established to First English Lutheran Church.
