Angela T. Schlaeger

Angela "Angie" Schlaeger of Oshkosh passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center On Wednesday October 15, 2025. Angie was born on November 11, 1932, daughter of Walter and Angeline Brown. Angie was married to John Schlaeger on August 7, 1954. Angie and John traveled extensively, Arizona being their favorite destination. Their many trips were a source of wonderful memories for her.

Angie was employed lifelong as a nurse, retiring from Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh. She enjoyed playing cribbage with her friends and never missed watching a game when the Packers, Brewers or her beloved Badgers were playing. There was always a book open as she was an avid reader and also a puzzle to be completed.

Angie is survived by her son, Jack (Denise) Schlaeger, of Minneapolis; two brothers, Robert E. Brown (Carolee) of Wauwatosa, Walter (Bud) Brown of Oshkosh; a sister, Rachel (Brown) Mellberg (Robert) of Fenton, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Polly Lindemer; brother-in-law, Ronald Schlaeger; a special niece, companion, caregiver & caretaker, Tracy Lindemer; and special friend, Fran Tillman; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; three sisters and their spouses; Pat (Eugene) Formiller, Mary (Robert) Baerwald, Dorothy (Lee) Christian; and sister in law, Carol Brown.

A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Oshkosh, WI, on October 22, 2025 with Deacon Brad Gallenberg officiating.
