Arlene J. Robl

Arlene Robl, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at Evergreen Manor Retirement Community, surrounded by the family she cherished. Born on August 9, 1938, Arlene was a woman who truly understood how to celebrate life.

A pillar of her community and a devout member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, Arlene's faith was rooted in service. She founded the funeral luncheon ministry at the parish, offering comfort to families in their time of need. Her love for beauty also led her to spend many years volunteering at the Paine Art Center and Gardens.

Arlene was the heart of her family's most treasured traditions. Whether it was a summer day in Waupaca or a trip to Door County, she was the architect of unforgettable memories and legendary stories. She never turned down a good celebration or a glass of wine, and she was a formidable opponent at the card table-regularly claiming victory in Bingo, Sequence, and King's Corner. When she wasn't winning games, she was often found with a needlepoint or crochet project in hand, creating beautiful pieces for those she loved.

She is survived by her children, Linda Ahrens-Hoffman (Michael Tresp) of Fond du Lac, Cheryl (Matt) Simonson of Oshkosh, Doug (Kris) Soper of Oshkosh, her siblings JoAnn Jensen of Beaver Dam, Delores Hoppe of Oshkosh, Mary Bandt of Waupaca, and Mark Kluender of Waupaca, as well as amazing grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry on her traditions and her spirited legacy. A special thank-you and recognition to our extended family, Gene Hetzel and Kathy Lenau, for the love and care they gave Arelene over the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 am with a visitation at 10:00 am before the service.
