Audrey Ruby Heruth

Audrey Heruth, age 97, passed away at Bella Vista on Sunday, August 23, 2026. She was born to the late Ray and Mary (Lingenfelter) Odekirk on May 7, 1929, in Fond Du Lac. She married Leslie Heruth on June 7, 1947, and they were together until his passing in 2002.

Audrey worked for 18 years at J.C. Penney as a service merchandiser and 20 years at Miles Kimball Company.

Audrey enjoyed volunteering at her church, First English Lutheran Church, as well as the Elks Club and Mercy Hospital; as well as traveling to see shows at the Fireside Theatre.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Deborah Lemke and Cindi (Michael) Jungwirth; grandchildren, Adam Jungwirth, Jared (Corey) Jungwirth, Jordan (Brynn) Jungwirth, and Michael (Heather) Lemke; great-grandchildren, Violet, Hudson, Ryleigh, & Carson Jungwirth and Hailey and Benjamin Lemke. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Jenny Odekirk, Beverly Heruth and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald (Lucille), Lowell (Betty), and Eldon Odekirk and sister-in-law, Barbara (Richard) Schmitz; and brothers-in-law, Richard and Ronald Heruth.

A memorial service for Audrey will be at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 12PM. A time of visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. A burial of cremated remains will take place at Estabrooks Cemetery at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bella Vista and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful and loving care they gave to mom, especially Hallie, Alyssa, Marin, Lynn, Emily, Jennifer, Kerri, Leslie, Pao.
