Barbara Jean (Knoblock) Floyd, age 86, passed away on February 20, 2026. She was born on February 8,1940 to Regina (Marhefke) Knoblock and Richard Knoblock. Barb graduated from Oshkosh High School. She married Bobby Floyd on May 7,1958 in Menasha, Wisconsin. Barb worked at Miles Kimball Company in the printing division for over twenty years, retiring in 1993. Barb will be deeply missed by her children: Ronald (Theresa) Floyd, Cynthia (William) Plucker, Kevin Floyd, and daughter-in-law Carolyn Floyd. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Hunter (Katie) Floyd, William (Jennifer) Plucker, Samuel Plucker, Steven (Tonya) Floyd, Danielle (Reid) Burton, Justin Harrer, and Collin Floyd. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Connor Floyd, Delilah Floyd, Brynn Plucker, Caden Floyd, Rhett Burton, and Emery Burton. Barb is further survived by sisters-in-law Judy Knoblock and Joan Morrison.
Barb was preceded in death by Bob, her husband and best friend of 62 years; son Richard “Rick” Floyd; parents Richard and Regina Knoblock; mother-in-law Dorothy Floyd; brother Richard “Dick” Knoblock Jr. and brother-in-law Ted Morrison, as well as the many dogs Mom and Dad cared for over the years. And finally, Betty Plucker who was such a great friend, “big sister”, and fellow Heritage resident.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at The Heritage for their kind and compassionate care of Mom. We cannot begin to thank you all enough. We will forever be grateful to all of you! Also, thank you to the staff from St. Croix Hospice for their expert care and kindness in Mom’s final months.
We would like to thank Mom’s cousins who took the time to send her a birthday card, message, family pictures, or well wishes for her 86th birthday. You all made her birthday extra special.
Mom - thank you for everything you have done for us. We are so proud of how resilient you were after Dad passed. You spent your final years making so many new friends. As a family we enjoyed so many great times, travels, holidays, endless laughs, countless stories and really appreciated your hand-crafted gifts. You will be greatly missed, forever loved, and always in our hearts.
Per Barb’s request, a private memorial service will be scheduled at a future date.
