Barbara J. Severson

Barbara Jean Severson, age 75, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025 from natural causes. She was born December 25, 1949, the third daughter of Donald and Mildred Severson.

She grew up with 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, graduating from Oshkosh High School in 1968. She attended UW Oshkosh for one year, then the technical College in Appleton for 2 years.

Throughout the years she sold handmade crafts through Serendipity Designs and Crafts, worked at Goodwill, M&I Bank, and ADVOCAP

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald J and Mildred K (Holberg) Severson; brother, Donald J Severson Jr. of Oshkosh; sister, Mary L Zogbaum; granddaughter, Lynn Zogbaum; grandson, Dale Zogbaum.

She is survived by a sister, Karen (Allan) D Lund of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin and their three sons; brother, David A Severson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Arthur Zogbaum of Madison; cousin, Gary (Cheryl) Hansen of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Barbara's family would like to thank the staff at Edenbrook of Oshkosh for many years of excellent care as well as Compassus Hospice, Appleton.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Barbara on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and continue until the start of the service.
