Beverly Ann Ponzer

Beverly A. Ponzer, age 91, of Oshkosh, passed away at Theda Care in Neenah on May 2, 2024.  She was born on February 25, 1933, in Oshkosh a daughter of Oscar and Jessica Laughtenschlager Herring.  On October 25, 1952, she married Evan Ponzer in Oshkosh.   He preceded her in death on April 8, 2020.

Beverly worked at AT&T for many years and in various roles before taking an early retirement.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church on Main St and enjoyed watching and feeding the birds in her yard, making quilts, and baking.  She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by her three sons Ron Ponzer, Mike Ponzer, and Doug(Kathie) Ponzer, her grandchildren Tricia Ponzer, Mike Ponzer, Karon Meyer, Kris Ponzer, Brian Ponzer Andrew Ponzer, Sarah(John) Kyei, Daniel Ponzer, three great-grandchildren Dylan Meyer, Norah Meyer, Oliver Ponzer.

She is further survived by one brother Ken Herring, two sisters Barbara Mohling, Linda Grefshim and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter-in-law Tammy Ponzer, her brothers Norman(Beverly) Herring, Robert”Floyd” (Doris) Herring, sister Lois(Ray) Bielmeier, and brother-in-law Al Grefshim.

Funeral services for Beverly will be held on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at noon at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
