Carol Ann Sawitski

July 18, 1938 — July 13, 2012

Carol Ann Sawitski passed away peacefully on February 12, 2012 at Park View Health Center, Oshkosh. Carol was born on July 18, 1938, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Harvey and Irene Priebe. She married John G. Sawitski on November 24, 1956. John preceded her in death on August 1, 1988. Carol worked at Winnebago Health Institute for 31 years. She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo and gambling trips. Most of all she enjoyed visiting and going out with her sister and friends and showing pictures of her granddaughters and great grandchildren. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor and a generous nature.She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Irene Priebe, husband, John Jr., son, Jeffrey, and brother, Richard.She is Survived by a daughter, Debra (Claire) Hart of Helena, Montana; 3 grandchildren, Trish, Jade, and Tara; 4 great grandchildren; a sister Janice Hansen, 3 brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law; nieces and nephews.Special thanks is given to Dr, Dar and his staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and to all her friends and staff at the Parkview Health Center for the care and support they have given Carol. Carol will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:30 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with the Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers a memorial to Park View Health Center.
