Carol R. Young

Carol R. Young, age 87 of Oshkosh, passed away at Arborview Manor on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born in Neenah on December 25, 1935 to the late Hiram and Clara (Schreiber) Young.

Carol worked as a benefits specialist for the Social Security Administration for 35 years.

Carol is survived by her children, Richard Clough and Lynn Clough; grandchildren, Deric Clough, Nathan Clough with wife Kim, Lorilyn Young; great-grandchildren, Zehthan Richard Clough, Rigby Hiram Clough and Ciana Clough Montgomery. Carol loved and spoke of each one to her last day. We loved her dearly, they all said.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Steven Clough and Cheryl Clough; granddaughter, Kelly Clough; siblings, Dr. H. Fred Young and Juanita Neff.

Per Carol’s wishes, private services will be held by family.
