Cheryl L. Trayling

Cheryl L. Trayling, age 60 of Oshkosh, WI passed away at Alten Haus of Neenah on Friday, April 3, 2026. She was born on September 13, 1965, to Walter Lindamood and Judy Humphries in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Cheryl was a vibrant spirit known for her sarcasm and sass. She had a special love for playing Bingo and UNO, spending time with her daughter (who she treasured) Patricia, or enjoying a good steak out. And let’s not forget her love for frappuccinos from Starbucks – those were truly her guilty pleasure! She loved her four-legged companion, Angel, who journeyed with her from Texas. She found joy in small things, whether it was collecting cherished wolf memorabilia, getting her nails done, watching mystery shows on the ID channel, or listening to country music, especially Garth Brooks. In her younger years, she delighted in the excitement of wrestling matches. A true friend to many, Cheryl’s infectious enthusiasm and personality will be deeply missed.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Patricia Trayling; a biological son who was lovingly adopted by another family, her mother, Judy Elizabeth Babcock, and sister-in-law, Angel Lindamood; nephew and niece, Cody and Lexi Lindamood; cousin, Lela Rodriguez.

In death, Cheryl will be united with her beloved grandmother, Eva “Dink” Humphries, her father, Walter Lindamood, and brother, Elmer Lindamood; favorite uncle, Rusty Humphries.

There will be a private celebration of life for Cheryl this summer.
