Oshkosh

Christopher A. Brink, age 58, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2026.

Chris was born on September 11, 1967, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Alvin and Patricia (Wittenbach) Brink. He graduated from Ripon High School with the Class of 1986. He was a vibrant, unforgettable presence who lived life entirely on his own terms. Charismatic, endearingly funny, and truly eclectic, Chris was a natural curator of life who possessed a sharp eye for the unique and extraordinary. Chris spoke with blunt efficiency, sharp wit, and unforgettable delivery.

Chris was a man of intense substance—candid, earnest, and deeply principled. Unafraid of challenging conversations, he brought an uncompromising depth to every interaction and was always ready to engage in meaningful, intellectual dialogue.

He also possessed a profoundly compassionate heart, which shone brightly through his dedicated care for those in need, offering his time and support to anyone facing life's hardships. He had a natural gift for bringing comfort, dignity, and warmth to people who needed it most.

At the core of Chris's life was his strong, unbreakable faith in Jesus Christ, his Lord. He was a deeply devoted and active member of Calvary SonRise in Oshkosh, a community he loved wholeheartedly and considered family. His presence, lively energy, and unwavering devotion left an indelible mark on his church brothers and sisters. He was often one of the first to arrive and the last to leave. A faithful witness, he was always eager to study the Word and stand firmly in his convictions.

Chris is survived by his loving parents, Alvin and Patricia Brink; his three siblings, John Brink, Amy (Sean) Stark, and Beth (Mike) Mueller; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Ashlyn, and Ellie Stark, as well as Henry, Hudson, and Presley Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Ian Brink, with whom he is now joyfully reunited in faith.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Calvary SonRise (222 Church Ave, Oshkosh, WI).
