Clairbel Kliss

Clairbel "Claire" Kliss-Zentner, 90, of Oshkosh, WI passed away on May 23, 2024. She was born in Stevens Point, WI to the late Glen Worden and Annie Worden. She married Edward Kliss on June 13, 1953, until his passing in 2007. She later married James Zentner on July 26, 2008, until his passing in 2009.

Claire was active in the woman's group at Algoma United Methodist church. Claire loved to meet new people while enjoying her favorite game Bridge. She cherished her TOPPS friends. She especially looked forward to weekly meals with her good friend Darlene.

Claire is survived by her children Gayle Billman (Ron), Jody Hirte (David Woodland), and Deanne Kliss (Terry Abraham); step-daughter, Karen Zentner LaBorde (Phil); siblings Dell (Carolyn) Worden, Carol Dorschner (Bob), and George Worden (Judy); grandchildren Donavan True (Joanne), Matthew True (Katie), Amanda Luty (Andy), Ross Hirte (Alyssa), Jonathan Dailey (Lindsey), Nathan Dailey, Justin (Jessica) Crawford, Andrea Crawford, Sarah (Mike) Freundel; great-grandchildren Brycen, Preston, Brett, Maeve, Claire, Grace, Abigail, Pierce, Aubrey, McKenna, JJ, and Denae.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Claire was further preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Hirte; and sister, Eve Agnew.

A funeral service for Claire will be held at Algoma United Methodist (1174 Algoma Blvd) on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 4PM. Visitation will be held at 2Pm until the time of service.

Above all, her greatest love was her family. She was always there for all of us; we hope to continue to lead by her example. She will be greatly missed.
