Constance Healy

September 17, 1958 — July 3, 2025

Oshkosh

Constance May Healy (Connie) found eternal peace with Jesus on July 3rd 2025 after suffering the effects of diabetes for over 50 years.

Connie's body failed her at the end but God did not and He brought her home to Heaven. As she was dying, she found great comfort in the knowledge she would be meeting her BFF, Jesus, and spending peaceful eternity with Him pain free.

Born on September 17, 1958 in a suburb of Chicago, she was one of four daughters born to Richard and Barbara (nee Johnson) Healy.

She is survived by her son Jay Vopatek (Abby), daughter Lauren (nee Vopatek) Wessels (Gregg), and grandsons Grant and Emmit, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life. She is mourned deeply by them as well as by her sister Kathy Madden (Bill), Jane Gleeson (Bob) and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends.

Connie's gifts from God included her ability to see the good in all people and to make friends wherever she went. Because of her loving heart, many "strays" (human and animal) came into her life, including her beloved cat Finley. Her most amazing accomplishment in life was her ability to communicate with God and Jesus through prayer.

A special thanks to the staff at Bella Vista Assisted Living, as well as the caregivers from Moments Hospice. God bless you all for your compassionate care of Connie and our family.

Connie will be laid to rest beside her sister Judy and near her Mother and Father at the Kiel City Cemetery, Kiel, WI. Immediate family will be gathering to say goodbye privately. However, in her memory we'd love if you would add any pictures, memories, thoughts and prayers in the book on the Konrad Behlman website. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, please consider making a contribution to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Connie's name.
