Cornel “Corny” M. Krueger, age 79, of Menomonee Falls, WI, passed away peacefully at his home on January 1, 2026.
He was born on September 18, 1946, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to the late Melvin Krueger and Mary (Davis) Krueger. He graduated from Oshkosh High School, served in the United States Navy, and worked for many years as a machine operator at Bemis in Oshkosh.
Corny was united in marriage with his loving wife, Pamela (Armbricht) Krueger, for 48 years, until her passing in August 2025. Together, they shared a life rooted in family, commitment, and love.
He was the proud father of four children, including the late Andrew Krueger, Angela (Michael) Anderson of Hubertus, both of whom he shared with his wife, Pam, as well as Bonnie (Jason) Miller of Oshkosh, and Randy (Gretchen) Krueger of Walnut Creek, CA. He is further survived by his grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends.
A lifelong Wisconsin sports fan, Corny faithfully followed the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. Known for his fondness for Diet Pepsi, doughnuts, chocolate, and other sweets. Packer touchdowns were often celebrated with a family tradition of “Touchdown Oreos.” He enjoyed collecting sports trading cards and participating in fantasy sports leagues. He appreciated music and enjoyed attending concerts. Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends.
Corny will be remembered for his humor, independence, and the enduring love he held for his family.
A celebration of life for Corny will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., Oshkosh, WI 54904, on Saturday, January 10th at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Inurnment will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in the spring of 2026.
