Dale Ryan Scheller

Dale R. Scheller, age 74, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Ascension Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born to the late Arthur and Beatrice (Behm) Scheller on November 3, 1951, in Oshkosh.

After graduating from high school, Dale went into the United States National Guard where he served his country for six years. He married the love of his life, Susan Radley on March 5, 1983, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, where he's been a member his entire life.

Dale worked at Morgan Doors for over 25 years as well as briefly at Miles Kimball.

Dale played dart ball and golf league and well as playing in several bowling leagues throughout his life. He also enjoyed hobbies outdoors like going hunting and fishing as well as going gambling at a casino. When he wasn't active, Dale relaxed by either reading his newspaper or by watching old tv show reruns like Cheyenne, Rifleman, Maverick, Leave it to Beaver, Wagon Train, and Walker Texas Ranger. In his younger days, Dale enjoyed camping up north where he helped plant trees through the FFA.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Susan; five siblings, Sharon, Gene (Mary), Gary, Brian, & Tracy Scheller; brothers-in-law, Dave Kottwitz, Lloyd (Marion), & Duane (Dixie) Radley; sisters-in-law, Marcia Hurst, Barb (Ron) Vaughan, & Beverly Pionke; nieces and nephew, Brittany (Josh) Webb, Cassie (Leardus Woodford) Scheller, Emma & Quinn Scheller, David Schrock, and Aaron Courtney. He is further survived by many aunts and uncles as well as nieces and nephews on Susans side of the family.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by sisters, Christine Flack, and Debbie Scheller; mother-in law, Emma Radley; sister-in-law, Julie Scheller; and brother-in-law, Louis Pionke.

A funeral service for Dale will be held at Emmanuel United Church of Christ (1306 Michigan St) on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2PM. A time of visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service. A private burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. THE FAMILY ENCOURAGES THOSE ATTENDING TO DRESS IN THEIR BEST PACKER APPAREL.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.

The family would like to thank Kimberly Joas for the care she not only gave to Dale but that she is currently giving to Susan.
