Daniel J. Ilk, 78, passed away on October 25, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center, due to complications with Leukemia which was caused by Agent Orange.

He was born to the late Gregory and Marjorie (Dolan) Ilk on September 20, 1947. He married Marsha in December of 1968.

Daniel was in the Army, serving in Vietnam. He obtained an associate's degree in mechanical design at Fox Valley Technical College. He worked at Leach Co. for 35 years and served as President of Leach Co. UAW, he was also President of their employee credit union board. He also worked at Oshkosh Corporation for five years.

Daniel loved golfing, gardening, hunting (turkey and deer), watching his grandkids, he was also a Cub Scout Master and was always willing to help anyone.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha; two sons, Trevor and Trent (Brooke) Ilk; sisters, Mary Witkowski and Kathy (Jerry) Hitchcock; and one brother, Gary (Collette) Ilk. He is further survived by two grandchildren, Harper and Sawyer; In-laws, Joan (Joseph) Hildebrand, Susan (Jerry) Anderley, Brent Wilson, Brenda Wilson. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Daniel is preceded in death by two brothers, Geoffrey and Stephen Ilk, and brother-in-law, Larry Witkowski.

A memorial service for Daniel will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 pm at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the start of the service.
