David K. Curtis, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2026, at his residence. He was born to the late Keith Curtis and Barbara Shirtz on September 3, 1968. He married Amanda Gall on September 28, 1996; together, they had two children, son Benjamin and daughter, Abigail.


David owned and operated his own business, DC Stoneworks, LLC. He enjoyed hunting and fishing however he spent the majority of his free time at his home batting cage, throwing pitches to his daughter or traveling to multiple states to watch his daughter play softball. When not at a softball game, Dave loved spending time on the golf course or cheering on the Chicago Cubs, his favorite baseball team. Besides the birth of his children, he would claim that being at Wrigley Field for the winning game that put the Cubs into the World Series was one of the greatest moments in his life.


David is survived by his daughter, Abby; mother of his daughter, Amanda; Mother Barb (Bob) Shirtz; Sisters Katie (Chris) Boycks, Beth (Dan) Kelly, and Marsha Curtis. He is also survived by nephews Zach (Katie) Boycks, CJ (Ryan) Boycks and Hunter Gillhouse; Nieces Allie (Teagan) Boycks and Tina (Zach) Anderson.


David was preceded in death by his infant son, Benjamin; his father, Keith; his stepmother, Marge and his maternal grandparents, Opal and Joe Bradshaw.


A celebration of Davids life will be held at Konrad-Behlman- Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 3PM until 6PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be sent to the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh.
