Delhardt K. Kollmann, age 87, passed away on April 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Delhardt spent his final moments surrounded by his loving family at Eden Vista. He was born on November 10, 1938, in Fond Du Lac to Frank Sr. and Leona (Weber) Kollmann.

Delhardt was a proud graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy and later attended Milwaukee Engineering School. He served his country in the United States Army for four years. After his service, Delhardt dedicated his career to Mercury Marine, where he became known for his innovative spirit, earning several patents. He eventually wrapped up his working years at Giddings and Lewis.

He was a dedicated member of Martin Luther Church, where he found a sense of community. Delhardt loved the great outdoors, relishing camping trips, fishing, hunting, boating, and snowmobiling, creating lasting memories with family and friends

Delhardt is survived by his wife, Joan Kollmann; his sons, Dave (Linda) Kollmann, Dennis (Alisa) Kollmann and Daniel (Rebecca) Kollmann; six grandchildren, Justine Wolf, Jordan (Emily) Kollmann, Hannah Kollmann (Mo Dosky), Emily Kollmann (Emmi Nievinski), Jonah Kollmann and Lucy Kollmann; great-grandchild, Chloe Kollmann; brother, James (Marlene) Kollmann; sister-in-law, Donna Kollmann.

In addition to his parents, Delhardt was preceded in death by his grandson, Sean David Kollmann; sister, Annabele (Sperry) Winn; brother, Frank Kollmann Jr; in-laws, Rutherford and Margaret Butt.

Per Delhardt’s wishes, a private service will take place.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Martin Luther School.
