Dennis Wojahn
April 20, 1948 - May 15, 2025
Dennis Wojahn, a lifelong resident of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born on April 20, 1948, in Oshkosh, Dennis proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from May 1968 to May 1970, including a year of active duty in Vietnam. Upon returning home from service, he met his future wife, Linda (Brown), and the two were married in 1972.
Dennis graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1978 and spent most of his career in the metals and manufacturing industry. He retired from Precision Steel Warehouse in 2013.
An avid outdoorsman, Dennis found joy in hunting, fishing, and being outside. In later years, he developed a passion for brewing beer and making wine, and he especially enjoyed traveling around the Midwest with Linda.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Wojahn, and his sister Sharon.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda; his sons Darren and Paul (Katie); and his cherished grandchildren, Brooks, Grace, Genevieve, and Caroline.
Dennis will be remembered for his strength, determination, and dry sense of humor - and for the love he had for his family and the simple pleasures of life.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Parkview Health Center for the compassionate care they provided Dennis over the past two years.
A short service for family and close friends will be held on Friday, May 23 at 11:30 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. A celebration of life will follow at West End Pizza in Oshkosh from 12:30 to 3:00 PM. All are welcome.
