Diane R. Deising

Diane R. Deising, age 73, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on May 17, 2025 at her home.

Diane was born on November 12, 1951 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late Alfred and Martha (Ernst) Bartel. She graduated from Winneconne High School, class of 1970. She married Bob Deising in 1986. She worked at WNL for 14 and a half years, Carolina Designs for 5 years, and Badger Electric for 5 years. She finished her career as a self-employed cleaner and painter. She lived in Boom Bay for 15 years before making her way back to Oshkosh in 2015. She was a dedicated member to the Grace Lutheran Church.

Diane loved to be outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, camping, and pontooning. When she wasn't outdoors, she could be seen enjoying time spent in a casino or on a Mexican vacations. She was a part of various leagues, including softball, pool, and bowling.

She is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Irving) Miller; nieces and nephews, Terry Miller, Brad Miller, Cindy Siekierke, Debra Shafer, Roger Bartel, and Alan Bartel; special neighbors, Linda (Kevin) Comber; and her best furry friend, Moocie.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Deising; and brother, Arlin (Susan) Bartel.

A special thank you to Moments Hospice and Senior Stride Homecare for the wonderful care they gave Diane.

A memorial service for Diane will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:00am, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held beginning at 10:00am until the start of the service.

Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
