Dorothy V. Granberg, 91, of Oshkosh, went to her eternal home in Gods heavenly garden, on Wednesday July 26, 2006 at her home in Elijahs Place.She was born June 23, 1915 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Zenisek Behan. Dorothy married Robert E. Granberg on Sept. 1, 1934 in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2001. Dorothy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer at the Oshkosh Senior Center, Docent at Paine Art Center for six years, and Docent at EAA for eight years. Dorothy was an excellent seamstress, cook, baker, needle-crafter, and ceramic maker. Survivors include a daughter Judith Anne (Robert) Vierck of Oshkosh; a brother Robert (Wilma) Draheim of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren Debra (Steve) Lastofka of Greenville, Robert (Ella) Peterman of Menasha, and Perry (Laurie) Peterman of Neenah; seven great-grandchildren Jessica (Joe), Stephanie (Tim), Brandon (Amy), Jeremy (Jenny), Danielle, Melissa, and Ashley; two great-great-grandchildren Wyatt and Hanna. She was preceded in death by three sisters Zona Grunewald, Nancy Fitzgerald, and Arlene Draheim, and a brother Marvin Draheim. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held Monday July 31, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, Rev. Eric Quinney-Burnard officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 AM until the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Dorothys family would like to thank Kim, Joan, Tara, and all the staff at Elijahs Place for their exceptional care. The joy of Dorothys life was spending time with her grandchildren and their families.
