Douglas “Doug” H. Dustman Sr., age 92, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Belle Vista.
Doug was born December 1, 1931, son of Harry and Freida (Bartel) Dustman. He graduated from Grand Oshkosh Highschool. Doug enlisted in the army and served as a sergeant during the Korean War. On August 20, 1982 he married the love of his life, Mary Jane Warren. He was employed at Wisconsin Public Service Corp for over 39 years and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, cribbage, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Doug is survived by his son, Douglas (Debbie) Dustman Jr.; daughters, Patricia(Scott) Haggerty and Juniet (Greg) Rotter; stepson, Randy(Sandy) Harwood; stepdaughter, Wendy(Jack) Doemel; granddaughters, Sarah(David) Ahern, Emily Rotter, Kimberly Snyder, April (Timothy) Palecek, Amy(David) Huberty, Samantha(Jonathon) Matulle, Kaylee(Tyler) Harreld, Tessa Doemel; grandsons, Richard Rotter, R.J. Harwood, Jack(Anna) Doemel Jr.; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Madilyn, Alexis, Alaina, Kyla (Fiance’ Travis Leichtfuss), McKenna, Uriah, Holly, Blake, Evelyn, Wrenly, and Jack; sisters-in-law, Janet LeDoiyt, Janet Klapa and brother-in-law, Raymond Klapa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry (Freida) Dustman; wife, Mary Jane Dustman, his in-laws Edward and Lillian Klapa, one brother Lloyd Dustman, one sister Suzanne Knopp, brothers-in-law Ed Knoop, Wayne LeDoiyt and Robert Klapa.
A private funeral service for Doug will be held at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.
