Edward D Riley

Edward D. Riley Sr., 67, of Oshkosh died Monday September 12, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center. Ed was born June 21, 1938 in Milwaukee a son of Robert and Lorraine (nee Oestreich) Riley. He married Jane Norton. Ed had worked for 31 years at Mercury Marine, was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Survivors include a son Edward (Lisa) Riley Jr. of Oshkosh; a step-son Ralph Norton of Annapolis, MD; a brother William (Leola) Pitzen of Oshkosh; three sisters Ruth (Arthur) Faust of Sheboygan, Dawn Luedtke of Gresham, Diane Pitzen of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren Zachary and Caitlin Riley; three step-grandsons Jason, Robert, and Sean Norton; and friend Jane Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald Riley, and sisters Geraldine Trickel and Jaqueline Jones. Private services for Ed will be held and burial will be in Ellenwood Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Ahlborn will officiate. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
