Elias Frank Jahner Jr

Elias F. Jahner Jr., age 81, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday May 14, 2026, at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on February 24, 1945, in Strausburg, North Dakota, a son of Elias and Theresa Roth Jahner. On June 3, 1967, he married Jean Frederiksen in Antigo.

Elias served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a carpenter by trade and loved tinkering and fixing things. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, lending a helping hand to others, fishing, bowling and going to shoogaloetz.

He is survived by his wife Jean, his children Jane(Keenan) Koehnke, Elliot(Heidi) Jahner, Joelle(Dantae White) Jahner, 10 grandchildren Brett(Morgan Satterfield) Jahner, Amanda(Nate Jesse) Koehnke, Danielle White, Alisha(Zack) DeBont, Samantha(Wyatt Bray) Koehnke, Tanner(Hannah) Jahner, Kendra(Wyatt) Wert, Kyler Jahner, Makayla White, Nate Jahner, three great-grandchildren Bowen Jesse, Hayden Wert, Weston Wert, three brothers Alvin(Sherry) Jahner, Michael(Pat) Jahner, Jeffrey(Karen) Jahner, one sister Alice(Michael)Backes and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Friday June 5, 2026 at Sacred Heart Parish(222 E. Fremont St Appleton, Wi.) at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Private Inurnment will be held at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery
