Elizabeth "Betty" M. Fitch

Elizabeth "Betty" Mary Fitch, age 97, of Omro, WI, passed away peacefully in her home on July 6, 2026, at her home.

Betty was born on April 6, 1929, daughter of the late Joseph and Eveline (Denis) Loverine, in Kenosha, WI. She graduated from high school and went on to work alongside her mother designing floral arrangements. She later opened a floral business specializing in silk flowers. She married Eugene "Gene" Fitch in Kenosha on January 28, 1956. They have held hands for 70 years.

Betty loved to travel, go camping with family, and fish. No matter here she was or who she was with, she always caught the biggest fish. Betty was an exceptional cook and enjoyed cooking what Gene and her children brought back from their hunts. Above all, she cherished her family and the time she spent with them.

Betty is survived by her husband, Gene Fitch; sons, Gary (Paula) Fitch, Thomas Fitch, and Denis (Dawn) Fitch; 3 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Joseph and Denis Loverine.

A funeral mass for Betty will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI, starting at 11:00 A.M. Time of visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the start of mass. Inurnment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oshkosh.
