Faith I. Draves passed from her life on earth on April 2, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center.

She was born in Berlin, WI on May 21, 1936, the daughter of William F. and Norine E. (Vergin) Ziegenhagen. She was married to Leslie C. Draves on June 26, 1971 at First English Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, WI.

She attended Brushville School through eighth grade, graduated from Berlin High School, and attended college at UW-Oshkosh and UW-Madison.

Faith was a member of First English Lutheran Church and served on its Youth Committee for a number of years, taught Sunday School when her children were young, was a member of Mary Martha Circle, and worked as an election inspector. She was employed for one year in the Berlin office of the Oshkosh Northwestern when it first opened in 1955. In 1956 she went to work at Kimball, Lamb, Rieckman & Company and then at Schumaker, Romenesko & Associates when the two companies merged in 1985, retiring from there in May 1998. In February 2000 she began volunteer work at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh until August 2017.

She loved spending time with family. She was a Packer and Brewer fan, did sewing, knitting and counted cross stitching. She loved to read, spending time at the library picking out books or researching her family tree. She enjoyed getting together with friends from church and water aerobics.

Surviving her are her husband, Leslie; daughters, Becky (Tom) Hergenrother, Buckeye, AZ, and Christy (Jon) Schmitt, Eden Prairie, MN; son, Timothy Draves, Madeira Beach, FL; grandchildren, Patrick (Jenny) Hergenrother, Elizabeth (Corey Gardner) Bucholz-Draves, Josie Schmitt; great-grandchildren, Willow Draves, Miles Hergenrother, Lakelynn Gardner, Grant Hergenrother,; twin brother, Frederick (Heather) Ziegenhagen, Oconomowoc, WI; brother, Rodney (Judy) Ziegenhagen, Endicott, NY; sister, Jeanine (Thomas) Heumann, Sun Prairie, WI; sisters-in-law, Caroline Mueller, Fond du Lac, WI, Monica Willie, Green Bay, WI, Donna Draves, Fond du Lac, WI. She is further survived by Charlie Rose, Elliott, Weston and Oliver Gardner as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by in-laws, Carlton and Darlene Draves, Dale Draves and Tom Willie; granddaughter, Sanja Schmitt; great-granddaughter, Violet Gardner; former husband and father of Becky, Donald Evans.

A funeral service for Faith will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. Oshkosh, WI 54904 on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Faith’s name may be made to support Lutheran Social Services, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, or the Oshkosh Public Library.
