Gary Meyer
January 21, 1943 — June 6, 2024
Gary Meyer, age 81, passed away at Evergreen Retirement Community on the morning of Thursday, June 6, 2024, with his wife, Leslie, by his side. He was born to the late William and Leota (David) Meyer on January 21, 1943, in Wisconsin Rapids. Gary married Leslie Gunz on December 3, 1983, in Oshkosh.
Gary is survived by his wife, Leslie; son, Scott Meyer; daughters, Cathie Books and Carrie Leschke; brother, Alan Meyer; five grandchildren, Amanda Anderson, Sam Meyer, Michael, Rachel, and Ashley Leschke; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Byron Adams.
Per Gary's wishes a cremation has taken place.
