Gayle (Kliss) Billman, 71 of Neenah, WI passed away unexpectedly (at her home) January 23rd, 2026. Gayle was born in Oshkosh, WI where she lived her younger years with Edward and Claire Kliss. Gayle married the love of her life (Ron Billman) on October 15, 1994, and they cherished every day together until her passing.
Family and friends meant everything to Gayle. The most important thing in her life was spending time with the people she loved. She cheered her loved ones on in life with enthusiasm in every way. Attending life events, a phone call or commenting on a Facebook photo, Gayle's love and support was felt. In her free time, Gayle enjoyed playing cards, puzzles and tending to her garden of flowers and vegetables. She was active in TOPPS, her Red Hat Club and church through United Women in Faith.
A big part of what Gayle did was travel to see her two boys and her grand kids. Donovan lived in several states over the year. Ohio, Minnesota, Florida, Georgia and now Washington. Matt lived in Montana for eight years and currently resides in Madison, WI. Distance was not a barrier that could stop Gayle. She made a point to visit her family no matter where they lived and often turned that family visit into a vacation. Ron was always by her side on every trip.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Ron Billman; children, Donovan True (Joanne) & Matthew True (Katie); grandchildren, Brycen, Preston, Brett & Maeve. She is further survived by her sisters, Jody Hirte (Dave Woodland) & Deanne Kliss (Terry); aunts, Carol (Bob) Dorschner & Carolyn Worden and uncle, George (Judy) Worden
In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Hirte; aunt, Eve Agnew and uncle Del Worden.
A visitation for Gayle will be held at Algoma United Methodist (1174 Algoma Blvd) on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at 10AM until a funeral service at 1PM.
Above all, Gayle was the glue of her family. She led by example and left a mark with kindness and love that can never be erased.
