Gerard (Gerry) Joseph Stoeckert was born on June 30, 1953 and born to eternal life July 25, 2023.
Gerry was born in Watertown, New York to George and Shirley Stoeckert. Being the son of a Lieutenant Colonel in the military. Gerry and his siblings had the privilege to live in many places
abroad and stateside growing up. This gifted Gerry with a wealth of knowledge about the world. People that knew him knew he always had a fantastic story to tell and was never at a loss for words!
Gerry had a passion for music and was a very talented guitar player. After attending Florida State University Gerry pursued a career in music. He married Debra Irish in 1978 and together they had 5 children which were his pride and joy. Becoming a father put a halt to his music career but he never stopped playing.
Gerry excelled at every field he worked in and he worked as a Master Technician for Bergstrom until he retired. Never able to stay idle for long though he later returned to school for computer
programming.
Gerry remarried in 1997 to Linda Parfitt. With whom he gained two step sons. They resided in Oshkosh, WI.
Gerry is survived by his wife; Linda Stoeckert. His children; Melissa (Tanner) Ochowicz, Jennifer Stoeckert, Dylan (Amber)Stoeckert. His siblings; George (Rebecca) Stoeckert,
Amy Valentini, Maureen Stoeckert, and Cheryl (Bruce) Marcey. Gerry had many roles throughout his life but we truly believe his favorite role was being “Pa Pa” to his 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, who were the light of his life.
Gerry was preceded in death by his two sons; Nathaniel Gerard Stoeckert and Christian Ian Stoeckert. As well as his parents; Shirley T. Stoeckert and George I. Stoeckert.
