Harold E Hoeppner

Harold Hoeppner, also fondly known as Budd, passed away at his home in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on June 13, 2023, at the age of 78 after a difficult battle with dementia and COPD.

He will be remembered for his acts of service to his country and the church. Harold served as a specialist in Morse code and communications in the Army from May 7, 1967, to Jan 18th, 1971, and retired at the rank of specialist 5th class. He also served as an elder at Good Shepard Lutheran Church. His family and the community are grateful for his hard work and dedication.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Hoeppner and Wanda Sheeks, and is survived by his siblings Dick Hoeppner and Sandy Schliesman. As well as his wife Sharon Hoeppner, his three daughters, Chris Siebers, Amy Hoeppner and Sara Hoeppner, and granddaughter Alanna Siebers.

There will be a small service and celebration of life for Bud at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday the 24th. The service will start at 12 pm with the reception to follow at 1pm.
