Jacqueline J. Frank

On August 10, 2026 a beautiful soul was beckoned to our almighty father. Jackie was born October 22, 1932 to John and Christine Jungwirth. One of six sisters and one brother. Jackie worked different jobs and was working at Morgan Doors where she met the love of her life Willard. They married and had one son, Brian, and ended up in a loving marriage of 60 years.

Mom left Morgan’s and went on to Paine Lumber Co where she stayed until the company closed its doors. She then partnered with her niece Cindy Meszarous and became her helper wallpapering many homes and businesses in the Oshkosh area and the valley. That created a bond between the two that grew and solidified to this day. Mom then went to The Company Store. She loved that job. Meeting people and helping them with their purchases. There wasn’t a relative that didn’t have pillows, sheets, comforters or jackets from that store. Between all that she was an exceptional homemaker. She took great pride in her home and her yard. She loved working outside and you would often see her sweeping the sidewalk and driveway. I truly believe she wore out a broom a week otherwise you could always find her in the basement by her favorite twins. The washer and dryer. I really believe our basement was a whirlpool test facility.

She was an outstanding cook, and we will forever miss her Thanksgiving dinners. Beef and pork roast, dumplings and gravy. Those aromas permeated through the house and neighborhood. Mom was also very fortunate to travel beautiful European countries and also China. She was blessed to have wonderful neighbors all the years she was in her home. Julie Gray and husband David who has passed on, Tony Kaelin and especially Duane Hanneman who very recently passed away. He was a very special person, so kind and caring, visited mom to talk, have coffee and something sweet. Knowing he was next door after dad had passed and keeping tabs on her and just being there was priceless.

So left to mourn moms passing are Brian (Amy) Frank, one grandson, Nathaniel (Amanda) Frank and two great-grandchildren, Alaric and Adalia Frank. Sisters, Jane “Tootie” Eisch and Marlene Friesch and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willard and siblings, Connie Brown, Amber Lafontaine, Judy Dadas and Euguene (Bounke) Jungwirth.

My family would like to thank the staff from Moments Hospice that touched her life- so loving and caring. Jackie and Kris at Lakeshore Manor and all the employees past and present. Thank you for making Lakeshore her home. She loved all of you very much. And to Josh, she thought the world of you. You’re an exceptional young man and wish you great success in your future.

Thank you to my loving family. To Judy and Tootie for your frequent visits and sisterly love and to my dear cousin Cindy Meszarous. You and mom had a unique bond that could never be broken. You loved each other so much. Your generosity with your time and treats seems trivial but the caring and love makes it the whole package. Your love and support for me will never ever be forgotten.

Mother requested no funeral or big Ta-do so we will have a private ceremony at a later date. You were very loved Mom. R.I.P.
