Jane Travis

Jane Travis, 90, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Nothpoint Medical and Rehabilitation. She was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of John and Helma (Pearson) Barlow on November 18, 1915. She was employed at Oshkosh High School and Oshkosh West High School for many years as a secretary in the principals office, retiring in 1979. She married Glenn Travis on October 5, 1946, in Dubuque, Iowa. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Harriet Barlow and Ellen Colleen (Barlow) Tatner. Her husband, Glenn Travis died on January 12, 2004. Cremation will take place and there are no plans for services at this time. Inurnment will take place later at Ellenwood Cemetery.
