Janet Louise Fasel

Janet L. Fasel, age 67, passed away at Aurora- St Lukes Medical Center on the morning of Sunday, August 9, 2026. She was born to Roy and Joy Pyper on September 10, 1958.

For most of her Career, Janet was in Reno, NV as a Gaming Agent for the Golden Nugget Casino. In her later years Janet worked at Pyper's Pub which she co-owned with her mother; where she would eventually meet her beloved husband, Scott Fasel. Janet married Scott in July of 1994. She also worked with a few different companies after retiring at the casino; some local companies being, Lasure's Catering, Quality Trucking, & Metcalf Mobile.

Janet loved camping and fishing with her husband and loved ones, as well as being in her beloved boathouse. She was an amazing cook and greatly enjoyed crafting and sewing.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of over 30 years, Scott; her loving pets, Tucker, Nova, Jasper, & Molly; sister-in-law, Kathy Pettit; as well as many beloved extended family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held at a later date.
